Samuel J. Liang, Managing Partner

Many of Sam’s clients depend on his guidance and recommendations to help achieve financial security. Sam is passionate about his work, and has focused his efforts on applying what he calls: Wholistic Financial Strategies. For instance, “If I am working with a couple in their early 70’s, my concern is not limited to making sure their savings will always be there for their enjoyment during retirement, but also will be passed on to their loved ones once they do indeed pass on. One big mistake a lot of retirees make is not planning for nursing home disaster. This can leave the healthy spouse broke. We make certain that we cover all the bases for our clients and leave nothing to chance by planning for the worst, and hoping for the best! We build futures for generations to come,” explains Sam.

Some of Sam’s past achievements include being the recipient of the 1999 Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award. This recognizes him as one of 40 business and civic leaders in the greater Boston area for their outstanding accomplishments in their business communities. In 2000 he also received the prestigious Francis Lowell Cabot award as the Alumni of the year for the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. He is a five-time recipient of the Top of the Table award, given by the Million Dollar Roundtable in recognition for great achievement within the financial services industry. Sam has also been named by the “Who’s Who” registry as a member of the elite, “Who’s who in Business Worldwide.”

Along with his partner Richard Rubino, Sam Liang co-hosts “Protecting Your Wealth,” the Boston areas syndicated financial talk show for seniors heard throughout Eastern Massachusetts every Saturday morning 9 AM to 10 AM on WROL (950 AM), Saturday evening 5 PM to 6 PM on WEZE (590 AM), and Sunday morning 9 AM to 10 AM on WJDA (1300 AM), WBOQ (7:30am to 8am on Sunday) and WESX (9am – 10am on Sundays).

Born in Hong Kong, Sam came to this country in 1974. When he arrived he could not speak English. By the time he graduated high school, he ranked in the top 10% of his class. Sam and his wife Eileen live in Bedford, with their four children, Devin, Samantha, Ethan and Harrison.
